Set the World on Fire

Ok, this post may not hit some like its affected me, but I decided to post a more meaningful post. I have attatched a song from YouTube that I just love.

Lately I have really been feeling called to spread the word of God. The slight problem with this is I have never really been taught how to go out and tell others about God and the salvation that is awaiting for each and everyone who would just believe in Jesus Christ, claim him as their own, have a personal relationship with him and spread the gospel. I know that Christ does not want one (NOT ONE) person to perish. I am in the midst of reading 23 Minutes in Hell. What a book!! One that has spured this desire of mine. I also have a sweet neighbor who neither her nor her husband or little boy are christians (and she is due to have another baby this summer). I have talked to her on a shallow basis about God, and have invited them to church twice(which they have not come), but I have not been successful in being the witness that I know God wants me to be. I dont' know why its hard to tell someone about GOD...the most important thing on this earth. I mean, I can tell other stories to her no problem, but to tell her about God I just choke up. Where do I start, what do I ask?? Anyone out there have any advice. I would appreciate anything. So anyway, I heard this song on the radio and just started bawling. I have heard it several times since and never have known who sang it. The words are so meaningful to me right now. I want to set the world on fire, I want God to use me, to take my dreams of telling others about christ and give them wings. I know I am small, but God you are big and you can give my dreams wings. Here is the song. Enjoy.

Sandra I think that you are doing what God wants you to do and witnessing to your neighbor. You are being available for her and you are being in a witness in who you are. Pray that God would give you the words when He wants you to speak them and pray for softening of hearts on their part. Only the Holy Spirit can convict someone of their need for Christ, all you can do is pray and be available. I'll be praying.

I caught your wish and then your song along with your post just bought tears.
I believe people will sense and feel Christ's spirit though you!

Sandra,

I'll be praying for you to be used by God, in the right way at the right time.

Thanks to those who have said a prayer or two on behalf of what I mentioned in this post. I truely appreciate it and thank God for the opportunity I had with my neighbor last week. Thanks again.
