Statistics

My sweet baby girl is 6 months old today!!  Oh how time has flown by and I am really enjoying her to the fullest.  She is the calmest baby I have ever met, she is super full of smiles and giggles.
Today I took her in for her 6 month check up and for sure I thought she would be bounding in her weight because her brothers seemed to at this stage, but she definitely has her own agenda:).
My silly ol finger got in the way of the flash, but I just had to post it because it was one of the better ones I took of her.
Take note: I actually got a hair piece to stay in her hair without a headband for the first time.  Ok, so it had fallen out by the time I was done taking pictures, but yeah to growing hair!!

At her appointment today I found out exactly how much of a peanut she really is!!  I thought it would be fun to put up the statistics of her and her brothers at age 6 months.  Here you have it....

Elijah weighed 15 3/4 pounds.  He was 27 inches long. Got his first hair cut at 6 months and ate solid food for the first time and got his first tooth.

Caden weighed 15 lbs 7 oz..  He was 25 1/2 inches long.  He was a pro at eating solids(because he started at 3 months). Sat alone at 6 months.  Had his first hair cut at 5 months.  He had no teeth until 10 months.

Liam weighed 16 lb and 8 oz.  He was 27 1/2 inches long.  He was a pro at eating solids( because I started him at 3.5 months of age).  Had his first hair cut at 5 months.  He was sitting alone at 6 months and 3 days.  He had first tooth at 6 1/2 months.

AND NOW FOR ELLIE....
She weighs 13 lbs and 11oz. (she gained 1 pound...yes I said ONE POUND in the last 2 months!!)  She is 24 3/4 inches long.  She barely eats solids.  She has NOT had a hair cut(she is a girl you know:)).  She can not sit alone.  She has no signs of teeth coming in.  BUT she is HEALTHY and for that I am THANKFUL!!!  Take your sweet time Ellie....I am not in any hurry for you to grow up!!

Thankful

Today was the day my dear friend Erica and I have been waiting for since about May when we decided to hit the road running and accomplish something both of us have wanted to accomplish for some time.  So we worked hard, and we trained, and we arrived at Lafayette early this morning for our first every Mini Marathon.

We were so happy to finish it and still be alive:).  And now for a much needed break from running!!
I was very thankful that my knee's didn't bother me to much.  A couple times, but they were both times I was able to overcome the discomfort.  I was extremely dizzy afterwards, but with some fluids in me and a curb to sit on, I soon overcame that as well.  I was happy with my time which my goal was to run it in 2 hours and 20 minutes.  I crossed the finish line in 2 hours and 7 minutes.  So very thankful!  Thanks Erica for being my training partner!  You are a mighty great friend!!
