Beauty Salon

When I was looking thru pictures on my camera and came across these from a few weeks ago, I was taken back a bit.  You see.....this is a whole new experience for me.  To sit my little daughter on the counter and work at her hair.  At first it was awful.  I didn't know how or what to do with it, but over time I am slowly getting the hang of it.  Its hard when her head is ALL OVER THE PLACE!!  She doesn't know how to sit still yet.
And she is finished:).   Pretty little girly!!

Girls are fun, right? Ok, so I don't know what it's like to sit your one year old on the counter and do her hair, but it seems like fun:) Actually Jaylas hair is not fun to do. It gets so tangled. Any advice? Do I put leave-in conditioner after I wash it or before bed? I don't know what to do!

And yes, this whole girl thing is a lot different than boys! I'll let you try on Alaysia's hair sometime - then you'll see what a challenge girls hair is! haha! Definitely out of my element but I LOVE learning and trying new things with her hair. I'm also very thankful for Minnie Mouse - that can keep her sitting still for a looong time. ;)

I agree, girls hair is fun to do.

oh joy.....I can't give you any advice because the ONLY thing I use is Mousse and Big Sexy Hair Spray. One thing I do know is that if you are trying to add volume to hair you add mousse and if you don't want volume you add gel. (right?) Yes true joy....I have a one year old with hair but your one year old out moves my one year old:)

This brings back memories of sitting on the counter in the bathroom getting my hair done...either by mom or Sara. :) Cute!

She is such a cutie! It's so fun to do little girls hair! My little sister hated having her hair done so I rarely got the privilege when she was little. Hopefully I will have a little girl someday who allows me to do her hair.
