Christmas Cheer!

Several weeks back we decorated our house for christmas. Its always so much fun to decorate for the holidays and watch the boys have fun decorating the tree. I have loved checking out all the other holiday home tours on blogging world so I thought Id just share a few of our pictures that we took this year of our decorated home. Enjoy!
Here is Caden putting on Jr. Asparagus from Veggie Tales.
Nick chose to decorate with the greenery. He ended up doing a great job. Thanks hun.Elijah loved helping decorate the christmas tree. And now for the pictures of the finished home all decorated. Here is our home from the outside. We have never had a white light christmas tree before, but this year I was able to buy a prelit white light christmas tree and I was so excited to have a tree with white lights. As we were putting up the tree Elijah asked where the colored lights were and I told him this year its going to stay white. He reponded "well, thats boring". So, I decided to be nice and allow him a little bit of color this year by decorating a tiny tree for our kitchen near our table so he could have his "colored lights". Here is the tiny tree.

Your house looks great! I love all the lights on the outside! I've tried to get Michael to put up icicle lights on the outside of ours for a few years and each year he procrastinates (imagine that:) ) until the first snow and says "shoot, I guess I missed my opportunity to put up the lights. Next year I'll do it earlier in the year because I'm not putting them up once it has snowed." (I'm not holding my breath on that one...) :)

yeah with nick's back he really didn't want to do it either, but he was so kind to do if for me knowing I wanted my house to look great since we are having christmas here...otherwise this year it wouldn't have gotten done, cause of nick's back. He is such a trooper!!! I just love him to death.

Your house looks so beautiful and christmas-y (sp?) I'm always excited to put things up, but to take everything down is another story :)
