Check it out!!!

Yeah tonight was the night...it finally happened, for well over 2 minutes:)

Ok...I see I have posted three times today....I'll stop now!!

Francesville Fall Festival Parade

Elijah and Caden absolutely loved being in the Francesville Fall Festival Parade this past weekend. Danielle Wuethrich and Kathy Wuethrich have an adorable Cafe up town called Five Loaves and they put a float in the parade. The float was so cute and it even won a trophy for being so well done. Here are the boys dressed in their attire of "little men" drinking their "coffee"(pepsi) and eating on some cookies.
Trying to ring a soda pop...Caden got himself two and Elijah after many many attempts...got NONE!! Poor boy.

The boys also got their FIRST taste of an Elephant Ear. When we told Elijah we would get an Elephant Ear his response was "ewww, that is just gross". He then had one and after he was all done said " Is that really an elephants ear"?? Oh boy!!
I'd say Elijah was sure enjoying it even before he knew that it really wasn't elephants ear:)

Liam 6 months old

Can it actually be.....6 months since giving birth???

Here is a video of Liam...excuse my voice in the background:)

Oh to be like my BIG brothers!!

Ok, so the other night Nick and I were busy putting up some shelving in our basement storage closet. I noticed that Liam was NOT were I had put him so I walked over to where Elijah and Caden were and this is what I found....

I'd say he likes to be like his big brothers.

Then tonight as I was getting the big boys to bed I layed Liam in his crib and when I came back in he was rocking himself back and forth, back and forth....ON HIS KNEES!!! Thats right...he is 5 months old and I have a feeling he is going to do exactly what Elijah did...skip sitting and head straight for the knees and crawling stage. I don't mind one bit because eventually he will learn to sit but I can say Im ready for him to be somewhat mobile.

Such a strong little boy!!

Living in the Country and More!!

The Before The After

The wind has been just right lately for the boys to do something they haven't done....fly kites!! They love it so much and want to do it everyday...but of course can't when there is no wind.

Liam enjoying the campfire we had in the backyard.

Going to Indiana Beach with the cousins (twice already)!

Playing on the swing set!

Caden and Mommy both have gotten stung by bee's. (Caden's pointing to his)

Campfire in the backyard. Cooking some hot dogs and then enjoying s'mores after that:) YUM!!

Getting Settled In

Im annoyed right now with Blogger....this is the second time and I can't get these pictures to move around and get put into order. So with that being said...this post is going to be out of order and somewhat backwards. Sorry.

We are finally getting settled into our house and beginning to put things on the walls to make it our HOME. We are really enjoying our home and the boys are loving the outdoors to play. Here are some pictures of our house. Enjoy!
This is Liam's room. Its blue and yellow walls and looks really cute. Still want to put up brown roman shades and some decor on the walls.
A basement that has toys spread all over it:)....lots of room to play.

First Overnight Visitor

this is a complete mess of a post. I can not get it to do what I want it to do, so it is completely out of order and the pictures won't make sense until you read the story at the bottom of this post. So skip down to the writting and then scroll back up to see the pictures:). Sorry guys.

Deb with all her supplies and saddled up ready to hit the road again this morning.

(START HERE:))
We had a wonderful fun filled weekend with our "friends weekend" couples. I of course took my camera, but didn't even get it out!! So I only have a group photo to share. We had lots of fun laughing, playing games, talking and eating. Can it get any better than that? Thanks to our hosts this year Scott and Kate.
When we arrived home we unpacked our belongings and headed over to pick up a few other items at my parents house that we needed to unpack. When we got back home and began unloading our truck, a lady on a horse who was also pulling a horse yelled to us from the street. She asked about the pasture beside us and wondered if she could put her horses in the pasture for the night?! She began to explain that she is horseback riding across the country!!! Can you imagine?? We told her she was more than welcome to put her horses there and then come in and shower, eat and rest up for her journey in the morning. I did a load of clothes for her as well so she had clean clothes. She(Deb) began this journey last summer and started at the tip of Maine...rode too Ohio and had to stop due to weather and horse issues. She than began again this past July and has since rode from Ohio and is working her way and hoping to finish Iowa before the winter months set in. She gets 3 miles per hour on a horse!!! What a trip!! Deb hopes to finish next year and end at the tip of Washington. May God bless this journey she is taking and we hope she can accomplish this wild dream that she has had her whole life.
