Wonderful News

We are excited to announce that we are.....

MOVING!!!

Im sure some of you have already heard the news as my dear mother is very excited and telling people, so I thought I better get the news out myself before everyone knows:)
We will be moving to Francesville actually!! Nick got transfered to lafayette and will still be working for the same company. When we found out we were expecting Liam we asked for a transfer to Indiana. We had hoped we could have moved before Liam arrived, but it was not possible. Nick will be working at the South plant so it will be quite a drive, but we felt called to attend the Francesville church and have our kidos grow up around there. It will be a lengthy drive for nick each day, but we know that God will bless that time he has in the car and that nick can make the most of those times. We are currently working on finalizing the plans to buy our Indiana house, and hope to move sometime late July, early August before school starts.
As you can imagine both of our families are super excited to have us so close by. Its been a long time coming and we look forward to not having to make that LONG drive.
As we look back at our lives here in TN, we have realized how wonderful of a move it was for us. We have not only grown closer to each other, but we have most definitely grown closer to the Lord and that is the most important thing. This move is somewhat bittersweet for us and we thought we would NEVER say that, but we have been here 3.5 years and have put down roots. We will miss many friends, our great neighborhood, the mountains, the church we attended here and the church in Atlanta that we visited often, and of course the LAKES!!! But we know that God will go before us and we will love our new home!!

Happy Father's Day!

This post is dedicated to my wonderful husband and an awesome father to my three boys.
Thanks nick for being such a loving, caring, gentle, and compassionate husband to me. The boys are blessed to have a daddy like you who takes them to the park, who plays games with them, who teaches them how to play soccer and ride their bikes, who shows them love and showers them with kisses and hugs and who teaches them the importance of prayer and living for Christ.

We hope you have a wonderful day and we ALL love you very much.

Little Liam

Here is our little guy. Even though he looks so small and tiny he really is getting big!! He is our biggest boy at this age. He even has these tiny little rolls on his upper thighs. Its just so cute. None of our other boys had rolls to squeeze so Im loving it. We took a little video last night of Liam "talking" to us and thought some aunts and uncles and grandparents might enjoy:)

Liam is full of smiles now too!

Happy 4th Birthday!!

Can it be?? My little "ham" is a big 4 years old today!!!
Caden sweet Caden, I love you oh so much. You have been such a blessing to your mommy and daddy in more ways than one. We love your tender heart and your sweet spirit! That is as long as your big brother Elijah isn't pestering you, otherwise you can bring out the claws!! LITERALLY. You have to defend yourself with your nails and your fist sometimes. We are trying to break that habit of beating up your brother:) Caden you are super sweet and there isn't a day that goes by that you are not giving me a compliment. It usually is something like "mom, you are beautiful, or mom, your shirt is pretty, or mom, you look pretty." I don't know what I'd do without you. If you are in trouble and I simply raise my voice, usually that will be all that needs to be done for you to realize you are in trouble. So tenderhearted. I love your dare devil side....willing to try anything your big brother does. I mean not many (at the time) 3 year olds ride a bike without training wheels or ride his brother's razor scooter with such balance and ease. I love you buddy and I pray someday you will grow up to be a Godly man and have a wonderful Godly wife and beautiful children. Happy 4th Birthday Caden!!

Memorial Day Weekend

I know, that Memorial Day weekend was nearly a week ago, but sometimes I just don't feel like blogging and I wait until I don't mind blogging. So now I will get to what a wonderful fun filled weekend we had.

Briana and Troy and Kylin came to visit us and we had so much fun. We went boating on Friday afternoon when they got here, becuase Elijah was dying to try out his new birthday gift his ski's and guess what he got up:). We went boating Saturday afternoon till evening, we ate at brusters (ice cream place) and we even found out about a restraunt here we didn't know we had. Troy was telling us about Pizza Palace which was on TV on the show Dinners, Drive-Ins and Dives. This place is totally a Dive and in a terrible location downtown Knoxville, but the food is fabulous. In fact we went there again last night for dinner taking our neighbors with us. Anyway, Troy and Briana left Sunday morning and then our little family continued our fun weekend.

Sunday we ate out at Palancho's for lunch after church then enjoyed the rest of the day outside and around the house relaxing. Monday we went out on the boat again for 6 hours. Got a bit of sun, but nothing that I was hurting over:) So much fun and we really enjoyed having Briana and Troy and Kylin here. Thank you guys for making such a long trip. I know how it is!!!

So Behind

Wow, where does the time go? I have not blogged for some time and I feel like so much has gone on. This could be somewhat of a long post so beware.
First, I'll start off with a very belated HAPPY 7th BIRTHDAY to my dear Elijah!!! I can't believe I have a 7 year old who will be starting 2nd grade next year. Elijah you are such a sweet and loving big brother. You are very tender hearted and care a great deal about those around you. Of course we all have our days and sometimes feel like having a bad day, but for the most part kiddo, you are a great buddy. We love you so much and pray someday you will give your heart to christ. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUDDY!
Some pictures from celebrating Elijah's birthday with family back in Indiana over Mother's Day weekend.
Gutwein Party

Waibel Party

We gave Elijah's gift to him on his actual birthday before heading off to his "dinner".
Elijah is very very eager to attempt skiing this year...our hopes are to head out Wednesday and let him give it a try:)
We always let the birthday person pick where they would like to eat for their birthday and Elijah picked Chuck E. Cheese. I can't say I like that place as I think the food is just down right disgusting, but the boys love to play all those games.

Elijah just won and made a touch down...he was pretty excited.
Caden was shooting water at a target...he unfortunently lost, but Im sure I wasn't much help to him. Liam...well, as you can see he truely enjoyed his first visit to Chuck E. Cheese :) Secondly, about a week ago our neighbor's son decided to take off his training wheels on his bike and Caden saw it and thought he should give it a try. Mind you, he had NEVER ridden on a two wheeled bike. Well, much to our surprise he peddled off without much thought. He soon fell and cried a bit, but that told us...it was time to get the little bike down from the attic and put some training wheels on it. A week went by and this past friday Caden, Liam and I were on our mile walk and Caden says to me "look mom, no training wheels". Sure enough for a good while he was balancing it and not using the training wheels. So I told him "when he turns 4 (which is next month) we would remove the training wheels. He says "mom, I can do it now, I want them off now". So when nick got home from work he removed the training wheels and off Caden rode with Nick running behind him. He is such a little dare devil and will pretty much try anything and accomplish it within a few given hours. Way to go Caden!!! You are such a big boy riding your bicycle at age 3! His training wheels are just up all the way off the ground in this picture.
Thirdly, here are a few random pictures that I wanted to post:)
